The wet humid environment caused by a leaking water heater creates the perfect living conditions for mold to grow.

A leaking water heater could be a small problem but it could easily turn into a very big problem. Even small amounts of water can cause damage to your sub-floors, floors, and walls. Unfortunately for some homeowners, a leaking hot water heater can go undetected for days or even months. This creates a desirable habitat for mold to grow in your home. Which can cause numerous health problems, including allergic reactions and respiratory disorders.
